What on earth have we been up to?

The past few months have been a whirlwind. Here's some things that have been happening behind the scenes.

 

Since launching in the fall, we’ve received an outpouring of joy, love, & support.

So many community members have let us know how this platform will change their lives. It’s been a breathtaking affirmation that this mission matters.

So what have we been up to since then?

Here's 4 things that have been happening behind the scenes.

1. We’ve been interviewing community members.

Every week, we’re hosting one-on-one conversations with sacred sound practitioners, facilitators, and leaders.

We’re wholeheartedly prioritizing listening and learning - so that we can build a platform that truly serves the needs of sacred sound communities.

2. We've been designing the platform.

Building a social platform is a huge project.

We’re deciding what should be included in the first version, which will be launched in the coming months.

We’re researching strategies and recruiting volunteers & paid developers to help build it.

3. We’ve been launching our online fundraising shop.

Building a social platform costs money.

To invite our community to contribute in a way that feels joyful & reciprocal, we’ve opened a fundraising shop.

4. We’ve been building our capacity.

We’ve been hard at work preparing to incorporate our non-profit as a 501(c)(3).

This work takes a village. We've been forming our Board of Directors to provide integrity, oversight, and values-based leadership, and recruiting our team of volunteers to help bring this vision to life.

Our team here at Sacred Sound Circle lives by the mantra of "one day at a time." We wake up each morning with a vibrant devotion for this work. We feel a deep faith that this platform will change lives. We trust that Spirit is holding this work in Her hands, leading us forward in unseen ways.

Every kind word, conversation, and message from this community has given us the courage and inspiration to dream big and continue onward.
